The South Lakeland Climbing Centre gets large numbers of daily visitors, who are attracted to the pubs craft and cask ale offer, and the Kendal Mountain Festival attracts almost 30,000 visitors each year.
The Duke of Cumberland is located on the outskirts of Kendal, getting plenty of passing trade from the nearby industrial and retail estate as well as being within easy walking distance of the shops on Kendal’s high street.
