The Six Bells is a fantastic pub with historic roots. We’re looking for that special Management partner to take the helm that places their business and themselves at the very heart of the community, excels at maximising every opportunity and understands the importance of the people who work in the pub. The guest experience will be front and centre of everything you do.
You’ll ensure that the Six Bells is the best pub in the area. How? By serving a sumptuous menu each day, catering for 80 internal & 100 external covers. That’s why we need a Management Partner with food experience, energy, vision, and someone who yearns to be an integral part of the community they serve.
The ideal operator will be passionate about quality and consistency, providing excellent service every time. You’ll be enthusiastic about training and development, enabling your team to be the best at driving sales to ensure the Six Bells remains the go-to pub in the area.

Dating back to the 1700s, this pub steeped in history is well-loved for its picture-perfect chocolate box thatched roof, low beamed bar, and majestic fireplace. Guests relish the delicious ales, quality wines and an extensive range of spirits. Its seasonal food menu, famous for that Sunday Lunch to enjoy with the whole family, is another quintessential ingredient making the pub irresistibly successful. Guests get stuck into fun quizzes and live events.
The Six Bells sits in Fulbourn, a picturesque village on the outskirts of Cambridge. The savvy operator will capitalise on the seasonal visitors enjoying stunning walking trails, pretty streams, and verdant countryside. It also benefits from being just a stone’s throw away from one of the most attractive and vibrant UK cities: Cambridge, which oozes culture with many museums, live entertainment, restaurants, shops, and beautiful buildings.

Alongside tonnes of day to day support and a brilliant framework to grow the business, we provide an uncapped cut of top line turnover to pay yourself and your team in exchange for your Management Company providing the management services at the pub – it’s your structure to own, subject to management company costs including, but not limited to, staff costs, minor repairs and maintenance at the pub, security/door staff and insurance. We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.
