There is a large kitchen to develop a great food offer again on the ground floor and a breakfast room and nine letting bedrooms across the first and second floors. To the rear there is a small beer garden overlooking the heritage site of the medieval castle ruins.

The Ideal Publican

We’re looking for a Five Star publican with the experience to maximise the potential of this substantial pub in the heart of Penrith. You should be a talented operator able to drive the potential of this multi-faceted business, leading your team from the front to delight your guests. You’ll need to seek new ways to attract the tourist trade to your establishment, while serving the local community what they really want. Ideally you should have experience of running a catering operation and hotel rooms.
