The Pub
The Plough sits imposingly on the main road into the town of Alnwick, just outside the city walls. Alnwick is a 40 minute drive away Newcastle upon Tyne and sits right in the middle of the beautiful county of Northumberland.
The town is increasingly becoming a real hotspot for visitors and tourists to the area – coming to visit the Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Alnwick is especially busy now through the Spring and Summer where there is a shortage locally of good quality letting rooms – this is a huge opportunity for the Plough.
The pub comprises of an outside sun trap terrace as you step up off the street and into the main bar, a lounge area to the rear, and then exquisite dining room up the stairs which is decorated to a very high standard.
7 letting rooms and a separate function room finish off the offering at the pub, but bring an extra dimension in terms of bookings for private parties and numerous weddings throughout the year.
