The Pub

The Stag is a much‑loved village pub located in the picturesque community of Chorleywood. With its warm, inviting atmosphere and modern country‑pub charm, it attracts locals and visitors alike. Known for quality food, well‑kept cask ales, and a relaxed yet stylish environment, The Stag offers a strong platform for an Operator ready to put their stamp on the business.

Inside, the pub blends traditional features with contemporary touches, think open fireplaces, comfortable seating, and a welcoming dining area perfect for everything from weekend family lunches to evening drinks. Outside, there’s space ideal for summer trade and community events, giving the right operator room to drive growth throughout the year.

The Person

We are looking for someone who can take care of both Front of House and the Kitchen and engage and motivate a team to deliver all year round best in class service. You will have experience of managing premium food led pubs and have experience or clear understanding of how to operate in a modern village site. Experience in delivering on investments will also set you apart from other applicants, we have big plans for this pub, and you will be able to demonstrate excitement and passion to deliver the project.

About the Agreement  

The Punch Management Partnership offers a unique opportunity to run your own pub business, with affordable in-goings and the freedom to lead your own team, manage your business within a framework and support from Punch in a proven partnership model.

You’ll receive an uncapped share of top‑line turnover, giving you the flexibility to pay yourself and your team in a way that works for your business. Your own Ltd Company will provide the day‑to‑day management of the pub, retain full ownership of team and operational decisions, whilst managing associated costs such as wages and minor repairs. Alongside this, you’ll benefit from extensive operational support, including marketing and recruitment within a framework designed to help your business thrive.

At Punch, we partner with passionate, pub‑obsessed entrepreneurs who want to create something special. Working closely with a dedicated Operations Manager, you’ll develop a clear vision for your pub, deliver exceptional standards and create a pub legacy that stands the test of time.
