Leading pub company Punch Pubs & Co has added to its growing portfolio with the acquisition of the Yellow Rose pub in Middlesborough.
A favourite of Middlesborough football supporters, the pub on Roman Road will undergo a refurbishment in 2027.
Publican Nicki Rawlings and her team will continue to run the pub.
“Nicki makes the best parmos on Teesside,” said Punch Pubs Operations Manager, Jason Moran. “This is a great pub that does the essentials well – great beer, home cooked food, live sport and a hub for the local community.”
Speaking about the acquisition, Punch Pubs & Co Acquisitions Manager, Henry Boshier, commented: “This is an exciting opportunity for Punch, and I’m delighted to welcome the Yellow Rose into our Punch family. As always, it remains our priority to ensure the pub continues to thrive at the heart of the community and we’re looking forward to getting in the door.”
Punch is continually on the lookout for additional high-quality acquisitions, including packages and single-site opportunities that align with its modern, progressive vision and growth plans.
