The Fleece pub in Horbury has reopened following a £190k investment by independent pub operators Punch Pubs & Co, with Management Partner Tammy Musson taking the helm.

The six-week renovation has focused on refreshing the Fleece, bringing new life to the popular pub. The significant investment included replacing and updating the design of all the external signage and a swish new paint job to match. Internally drinkers at the Fleece will be pleased to know every bit of the much-loved, ‘proper’ pub feel and atmosphere has been enhanced. The pub’s large bar area has been given a modern makeover perfect for every drinking occasion.

Management Partner Tammy is familiar and well known within the area and is well immersed in local community life and all the activities. She’s excited and confident that the rejuvenated Fleece will be hugely successful and plans on wasting no time in firmly instilling it back within the heart of the community. Tammy said: “It has been great to welcome back faces old and new, fair to say the old girl scrubs up well.”

Senior Operations Manager Jannine Leadbetter said, “We’re so pleased and proud of the investment at the Fleece. It’s an invaluable pub to the community, and restoring it to its best for all its faithful locals, new and old, is amazing. Our Management Partner, Tammy, brings a wealth of pub expertise, local knowledge, and the perfect outlook to ensure the pub’s success for many years to come.”
