The much-loved Plume of Feathers pub in Barlaston is preparing to reopen with a fresh new look following a two-week refresh, thanks to an investment from Punch Pubs & Co.

Excitement has been building over on the pub’s Facebook page, where regulars are eagerly awaiting the reveal of their newly refreshed local.

Management Partner Amie, who took over the pub in April this year, says her long-term vision is simple: to make ‘The Plume’ the go-to spot in the area.

She said: “I’m thrilled to say that since taking over this fantastic pub, we’ve been flying! The changes we’ve made are already paying off – smoother operations, a stronger team, and a real focus on giving people a reason to keep coming back. And we’ve only just scratched the surface of what’s possible.

“We’re incredibly lucky – and grateful – to have such supportive, loyal guests, and I’m delighted that Punch is investing in our local, keeping it at the beating heart of the community.”

Affectionately known as The Plume, the pub will reopen not only with a refreshed look but also with a brand-new food menu featuring seasonal specials, an all-new breakfast offering, and extended evening service.

Amie added: “I’m so excited to be behind such a fantastic business. The foundations are strong, our customers are coming back, and the future is bright. This is an exciting story that’s just getting started, and I’m determined to make this a great success.”

The Plume will reopen this Friday, with a relaunch party taking place on Saturday, October 4th, with live music, entertainment, and open arms from Amie and the team.

More information about the pub and its investment is available on The Plume of Feathers’ website and social media.
