Leading pub company Punch Pubs & Co has added to its growing portfolio with the acquisition of the Ye Olde Whyte Swanne in Louth.

The 17th century pub will form part of Punch’s Leased and Tenanted estate, and will continue to be run by Neil, Dawn, Aliyah and the team, who have firmly cemented themselves at the heart of the local community.

Speaking about the acquisition, Punch Pubs & Co Head of Acquisitions, Andrew Cannons, commented: “We are delighted to welcome the Ye Olde Whyte Swanne into the Punch family. This is a fantastic community pub with a strong local reputation. It’s our priority that it continues to thrive, and I have no doubt that it will go from strength to strength.”

The traditional pub, first established in 1612, offers an extensive range of drinks including real ales, lagers, ciders, wines and spirits. Alongside its cosy front bar and lounge, the pub features a dining area and a beautiful courtyard beer garden, where guests can enjoy locally sourced, homecooked dishes such as traditional fish and chips, steak and ale pie and sharing platters.

Punch Pubs & Co Operations Manager, David Hill, added: “I’m incredibly excited to be working alongside Neil, Dawn, Aliyah and the team at the Ye Olde Whyte Swanne. This is a fantastic pub that plays a key role within the community, and I’m looking forward to seeing its continued success.”

Punch is continually on the lookout for more quality acquisitions, including packages and single-site opportunities that fit well with its modern and progressive vision and growth plans.
