The Bull & Sun is a well-loved community pub located in the Old Town of Bridlington, East Ridings in Yorkshire. This building is full of charm and is ideally located at the heart of this coastal town. The pub has previously had a great reputation for its homemade food, priding itself on its quality offering of cask ales, with it being cask marque accredited.  More recently the pub has acquired a reputation for a live entertainment venue,

The trading area of the pub consists of a central bar which serves both the main bar and live entertainment room and cosy lounge and dining space that serves up to 60 covers. The pub is famous amongst locals for its live entertainment, including music and quiz nights, which are always a massive hit.  There is always a wide and diverse array of artistes performing at the pub.

The pub entices seaside holiday makers which makes its beer garden the perfect place for family and friends to gather and relax with a cold drink and enjoy some live music.

Proposed Investment

The pub is to undergo an investment that will enhance the whole feel of this pub full of potential subject to full approval.  We are looking to redecorate throughout creating new features and will look and feel great.  The beer garden is also getting an overhaul.  To improve kerb appeal a full exterior redecoration and signage scheme is planned.

The pub is located within the historic Old Town of Bridlington, close to the Baylegate Museum and the Priory Church, it is steeped in Medieval character. The pub is set just a few miles away from the hustle and bustle of Bridlington town centre and is ideally placed for capturing hungry and thirsty tourists.

We are seeking a Publican who has the skill to manage a large team and the experience provide a high-quality food offer. You will need to be able to build strong and lasting relationships with the residents to ensure this pub remains at the heart of its community and also continue to get tourists through the doors in the summer months.
