This pub has a really warm and welcoming interior. There is a cosy seating area at the front of the pub and towards the back of the pub there is a wooden bar. This bar offers lots of display space on its wide selection of drinks including gins, whiskeys and wines alongside Cask Marque ales. There is a modern and well-equipped catering kitchen assisting service to the 60 covers, whether if that is dining in the cosy rear restaurant area or the main bar area. There is WIFI and the pub has a small car park with parking for up to 6 cars.
At the rear of the pub there is a stunning panoramic view of the Yorkshire Moors that can be observed from the pubs beer garden.

About the local area
Situated within the North Yorkshire National Park. This pub sits on the high street in Castleton, nearby the local food shops, the village tearoom and Castleton Community Primary School, and is within easy walking distance of many local residents. The wider area is home to many villages such as Grosmont and Goathland which is on the Whitby to Pickering steam railway line.
Castleton also offers access to the coast and Whitby is just half an hour away by car and Guisborough is just 15 minuets away.

About the Agreement
Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.

You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Operations Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.

Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.

* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Operations Manager.
