What we’re looking for
Ideal Management Partner
- We’re looking for an engaging character to be the face of the pub who will lead from the front, eager to ingratiate themselves into the community.
- You’ll create a welcoming and safe environment for the mid-week grey socials to inspire loyalty.
- This is a wet-led pub, so you’ll run your concise food offer from the small but well-equipped kitchen to maximise trade at peak times.
- You’ll also create a successful rhythm of the week whilst thinking about future events and how to target the right audience.
- The Jolly Sportsman is a community pub, so we’re seeking a talented Management Partner who genuinely loves organising and hosting fundraising events.
- You’ll also show innovation when creating community events, knowledgeable and passionate about the drink offer including real ales and proud to deliver excellent training to your staff.
Your pub business
The Jolly Sportsman comprises an open-plan trading area subdivided into versatile seating areas. Here you’ll discover a pool table, darts board and multiple TVs showing SKY and BT. The pub boasts a spacious beer garden and an undercover patio area, which we will refurbish. There is also a small kitchen from which you can run your food offer and to the side there is a car park.
We’re looking for a talented operator to ensure the Jolly Sportsman offers the best pint where friends and families gather and experiences are shared. A true community local pub on the periphery of Chesham town centre, you will show SKY and BT Sports throughout the week, run quizzes, monthly entertainment, discos, and karaoke.
