The Person 

To take this successful pub to the next phase of its journey. 

You will be an experienced food, pub operator with a proven track record of delivering high levels of food sales and have experience of operating a local bar. Being able to operate & manage a busy kitchen, operate a booking diary system and understanding how to turn tables to maximise both sales & profitability will be key. 

You will have a proven track record and be able to demonstrate, planning, executing & reviewing events you have held.  You will know how to plan & cost special menus and margin control. 

You will have a hands-on management style, mine host, leading from the front & have a proven track record of building and managing a strong sales team through training, coaching & support. 

You can evidence your passion for customer service, standards, presentation & product quality with both food & drink.  You will need to be a person that thrives on being centre of the community and enjoy organising & leading charitable fund-raising events within the community. 

You will understand and be able to demonstrate the importance of social media platforms to enhance your business. 

You will be an all-round star performer, if you have these qualities and skills and know you can take The Lamb Inn on the next phase of its successful journey, we need to meet. 

 

The Pub 

The Lamb Inn is situated in the idyllic village of Eastcombe in the heart of the CotswoldsStroud & Cirencester towns are a close distance away.  

You can enter the pub either from the bar side or from the car park with 30 spaces leading into the dining areaThe bar consists of loose furniture, darts throw and up right drinking & stools around the bar, double doors lead out onto a patio area which has fantastic views across the Stroud valley, This area is frequently supported by locals, walkers & cyclists who are passing through the village. The dining / lounge area has the best views I have seen looking over the fantastic garden & the Stroud Valley, covers for approx. 50 which are laid up for dining, this site has a fantastic reputation and following for food covering Lunch, bar snacks, afternoon teas and a substantial main menu with daily specials from all ages of the local community and much further afield. 

Well equipped catering kitchen sits just off the main dining area. 

The garden which is accessed along either side of the pub is stunning, covers for approx. 60 plus where you can sit, enjoy a meal & drink, look right across the valley and watch the day go by or even the best place to watch the sun set each eveningit will be hard to find a better garden area. With the added benefit of the garden areas sales during the peak of the summer months can exceed £16`000 net per week. An absolutely fantastic pub with a brilliant reputation for food and being a great local pub.

The external & internal foundations are already in place at The Lamb Inn although we may consider an investment to enhance the dining & garden areas  in the future with the right managed partner showing that they can perform and move an already successful sales & profitable business forward.
