Ideal Publican

The ideal operator will be an enthusiastic, hands-on hospitality professional with a flair for creating memorable guest experiences and a strong connection to the local community.

You will have at least two to three years in a pub or hospitality management role and a proven history of growing sales and building repeat business. We are looking for someone with experience in day-to-day operations, including bar and kitchen, meaning you will need expertise in food-led operations and managing kitchen teams. You will also deliver exceptional customer service, maintain exacting standards of cleanliness and presentation and be able to recruit, train, and lead a motivated team, executing seasonal menus and drinks offerings.

We’re looking for a dynamic and people-orientated publican to bring your enticing business to life online to drive new footfall through organising and hosting community events, live music, and themed nights. You will be adept at managing stock, budgets, and supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

We need a hands-on leader by example, visible on the floor, and actively involved in the business. The ideal Publican will put the guest experience first, with a warm and welcoming approach. You’ll know how to build strong relationships with locals and support community initiatives, whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment and handle challenges with a cheerful outlook. This opportunity will bring you fresh ideas for events, promotions, and menu innovation.
