The Stone Beck is a community pub, that offers a good selection of drinks. The pub sits in a retail park just on the outskirts of the spa town of Harrogate, which is just half a mile from the town centre in Jennyfield. It’s a small but busy spot, nearby a local supermarket, so the pub benefits from a lot of passing trade, so there is real opportunity to provide an offer which appeals to this audience as well as established customers.

The pub offers some excellent trading space, with two main trading areas including a spacious public bar and the large function room, both with their own entrances which are serviced by their own bars making them totally independent of each other. The public bar has an open plan layout with a pool table at the front of the pub, a good sized bar and bar space, popular with the locals making use of the bar stools or enjoy standing and chatting and some seating for customers to relax with WIFI throughout.
The Function Room is a little more formal and is very popular for private functions and parties. Outside, there is also a good-sized drinking area at the rear, which is extremely popular during warmer weather as it has an outside bar and small stage area for events.

Whilst the Stone Beck acts more as a community pub for the Jennyfield area of the city, it’s also in a great place for a quick breakfast or lunch, to relax in the day or meet after work or evening or even just to pop in for coffee.

Therefore, the ideal applicant would be a community focused operator looking to establish the Stone Beck as local centre for Functions, parties or just going out for a pint to enjoy the banter. It could be ideal for an experienced wet led operator (with some transferable skills and experience) who is confident working in this style of pub, and local knowledge would also be a benefit.
