Punch Pubs is investing over half a million pounds to transform the Windsor Castle, Maidenhead into the place to go for first‑class food and drinks – and we’re looking for an exceptional operator to lead it on this journey.

This significant refurbishment will reposition the Windsor Castle as a premium, food‑led destination with a strong drinks offer, stylish surroundings and broad local appeal. This opportunity will transition into a Management Partnership from July, offering the right candidate a genuine route into long‑term partnership.

The Pub

Located in Maidenhead, the Windsor Castle is perfectly placed to attract local residents seeking a premium pub experience, destination diners and a drink‑led trade with a quality edge

The vision is clear: excellent food, an outstanding drinks range, and a reputation for consistency and quality.

Ideal Operator

• An experienced General Manager ready to step into a partnership and being self employed
• A food‑focused operator with strong commercial acumen
• A driven individual or couple passionate about hospitality excellence

You’ll have:

• Proven experience running high‑performing food‑led pubs or restaurants
• A genuine passion for quality food, drink and guest experience
• Strong leadership and business management skills

The Partnership

The Punch Management Partnership offers a unique opportunity to run your own pub business, with affordable in-goings and the freedom to lead your own team, manage your business within a framework and support from Punch in a proven partnership model.

You’ll receive an uncapped share of top‑line turnover, giving you the flexibility to pay yourself and your team in a way that works for your business. Your own Ltd Company will provide the day‑to‑day management of the pub, retain full ownership of team and operational decisions, whilst managing associated costs such as wages and minor repairs. Alongside this, you’ll benefit from extensive operational support, including marketing and recruitment within a framework designed to help your business thrive.
