Independent pub company Punch Pubs & Co has added to its growing portfolio with the acquisition of The White Lion pub in Long Eaton.
The suburban pub, which sits just outside of Long Eaton’s town centre, will form a part of Punch’s Leased and Tenanted estate and will be ran by experienced operators, Ami Sanobar and Darren Paul.
Punch Pubs & Co Head of Estate Development and Acquisitions Andrew Cannons commented: “We are delighted to welcome The White Lion pub into the Punch family. Assistant Manager Alistair will be taking over the day to day running of the pub as he steps up to become The White Lion’s Manager, alongside the rest of the team who together will be working with Operations Manager Christian Gregory to ensure the transition is as unified as possible.

I’m excited to embark on this journey with multiple operators Ami and Darren, who are looking forward to getting to know The White Lion family. Alistair and the team have already been incredibly welcoming, for which we are grateful. There’s a lot of potential in this thriving town pub, so I’m eager to see what the future holds here.”
Subsequent to the acquisition of The White Lion, Punch Pubs also have a planned investment to take place in the coming months, with further details to be shared with the community later this year.
