Punch, the independent pub operator has this month launched its new Publican magazine ‘The Round’.  It starts a new era of support for its pubs and a chance for Publicans to share their experiences, expertise and inspire each other as well as their teams.  The magazine features Publican case studies, trend insight and supplier support so Publicans have the right insight to run their business better.

The Round will be published quarterly and the first edition communicates the importance of having outdoor areas ready to operate and maximise sales in the coming warmer months.

The accompanying supplement, the Pub Guide, shares details of the Punch Campaign Club which provides Publicans with all the tools they need to activate sales driving initiatives in their pub. It also contains a ‘What’s Hot and What’s Not’ feature that lets Publicans know what they should be looking at introducing to stand out from the crowd and meet changing consumer demands. Internal and external industry experts share valuable guidance including, maximising the right exposure on social media and getting a cider range reviewed and ready for the Spring.

Speaking about the new magazine, marketing and strategy director, Russell Danks said, “The Round is an informal magazine designed for everyone, getting Publicans to make the most of their pubs and it’s opportunities.

“We’ve created completely new marketing support and different ways to communicate content that is aimed at everyone running one of our pubs.  It’s simple to understand and use, promising what they read is suitable, has impact and makes a real difference”.

The first edition of ‘The Round’ went to 1250 Punch Publicans and is also available online at their Punch Buying Club.
