Punch and Laine Brew Co have worked together to create an exclusive beer, Heroes Pale Ale, to celebrate the heroes in our lives.  With the slogan ‘Not all Super Heroes Wear Capes’ every pint sold will also raise 10p towards The Royal Marines Charity.

The 4% abv pale ale has been specially brewed by Laine Brew Co and will be on tap in over 60 Punch retail pubs and available to tenanted pubs throughout the whole of June.  Brewed with Admiral and Chinook hops, Heroes Pale Ale has a citrus, floral aroma with biscuit, honey and lemon flavours making it an ideal refreshing summer ale.

CEO for Punch, Clive Chesser said, “Creating a special beer to support The Royal Marines Charity has been perfectly timed to be served throughout June when we celebrate the armed forces weekends and fathers’ day.  We want this beer to be enjoyed by the heroes in our lives and in doing so raise funds in the process for this fantastic charity.”

This is the second time Punch has raised money for The Royal Marines Charity having raised over £3,000 last year by taking part in their Commando Challenge. The Royal Marines Charity provides the best possible through life charitable support for Royal Marines, their families, veterans and cadets.  The Heroes beer campaign hopes to raise a further £3,000 for the charity.
