Speaking about the investment, Punch Managing Director, Andy Spencer said, “This is a significant and very special investment for The Wellington, and we are extremely proud of the new look created here. We wanted to create a brilliant pub that the community deserves, and we have certainly achieved that by matching this pub with great people to operate it”.

Customers will be spoilt for choice with an extensive range of craft and cask ales, gin and rum available. A brand-new quality food menu has also been introduced featuring all the favourites and an ever changing specials board to keep things fresh.

Shaun said, ‘’We were looking to move back to London and when we saw The Wellington we were drawn to the beautiful Victorian building. Once we spoke to Punch and saw the investment plans, we couldn’t wait to get going. The pub looks fantastic and we are really looking forward to welcoming customers new and old to see their new look pub. We have some exciting plans to bring this Victorian lady into the 21st Century, watch this space!’’

To match the quality food and drink offer, Shaun plans to host regular entertainment. From Eurovision parties and silent discos to everyone’s favourite quiz night, The Wellington is the place to be.
