You’ll ensure that the Crystal palace is the first choice for local guests’, and you will be centre point for the area. You’ll be an experienced operator well-versed in running a successful and quality fresh food offer. High volume experience an advantage. Guest obsessed, you’ll own service personally, and will relentlessly ensure nothing is to much trouble for the guest.
The pub and location
The Crystal Palace is in a prime community spot, surrounded by a strong economy, plenty of chimney pots and thriving local businesses. The USP is its position on the canal, with a large canal side terrace, and significant side garden with outside bar which brings high seasonal sales. Its location also benefits from Berkhamsted railway station (2 mins walks), and is in throwing distance of a heritage site (castle ruins) that pulls many visitors each year.
The pub has a good sized bar and dining room, together with a private and well equipped function room for you to bring alive. The pub has many features, including a delightful fireplace for those cosy Winter nights, and French doors that open up onto the canal during the summer. Then the Punch Management Partnership Contract is the perfect option.
Alongside tonnes of day to day support and a brilliant framework to grow the business, we provide an uncapped cut of top line turnover to pay yourself and your team in exchange for your Management Company providing the management services at the pub – it’s your structure to own, subject to management company costs including, but not limited to, staff costs, minor repairs and maintenance at the pub, security/door staff and insurance. We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.
In Management Partnerships, we love pub obsessed Management Companies with an entrepreneurial spirit that can help us lead the industry. We love to engage Management Companies that help us create pub legacies that stand the test of time and become the hub of their community. We get that every pub has its own distinct character, so our Operations Manager will work closely with the Management Company to understand the true identity of the business, we can then help support and amplify this as part of the Management Partnership model.
