The Old Sergeant is a compact pub packed with character. You’ll find it on Garratt Lane, which in the 18th and 19th centuries was an exit road to the south.

John Nash held the licence in 1785 when the pub had the same name. Later, Henry Young purchased it in 1857 when it became tied to Young’s Brewery. Locals and visitors to the area have loved this historic pub for many years.

Downstairs, you’ll find the Dug Out, a dedicated sports area for viewing live sports, which you can hire out. The kitchen is on the same level, and the gantry opens into the main bar.
