The Red Lion is set in a beautiful old stone building that is full of character. It has a great space for guests to enjoy an intimate dining experience, with two rooms served by a central bar. Both areas feature rustic fireplaces that walkers usually huddle around. Upstairs are five ensuite letting rooms that are geared towards walkers and casual stays, The Red Lion boasts a beer garden with space for over 70 to dine or enjoy a drink in the sunshine.

The Person

This pub would suit a couple who aren’t scared to get involved, ability to work across the whole business within the kitchen, letting accommodation and Front of House is essential, the high turnover of this business requires someone with experience in running fast paced busy environments and attention to detail to ensure the customer journey is at all times is exceptional, this is not a pub for someone on the start of their hospitality journey, the applicant must demonstrate the understanding of being a community pub that also needs to cater for high tourism during the summer month.
