The pub and location

The Bull Inn is a charming traditional English pub set on the main road through the beautiful village of Much Hadham in East Hertfordshire.

Occupying an attractive stone building, the pub has a back garden and in the middle of it sits a beautiful courtyard, which isn’t visible from the road, making it ideal for private drinks. This stunning pub is Cask Marque-accredited and has an open-plan trading area, which you could split into separate private areas. The cosy main bar and adjacent drinking area are perfect for customers to catch up with friends and family.

The Bull Inn comprises two primary areas. The main bar is a small nook for both diners and drinkers. To the back of the pub, you’ll discover a medium-sized seating area suitable for private functions, drinks, or dining, with space for around 35/40 guests. The pub also has a catering kitchen.

There is a small car park, and the venue has two entrances, with toilets to the rear. Outside, the beer garden at the back is ideal for families.

The Bull Inn is one of two pubs in Much Hadham – a large village on the outskirts of Bishop Stortford in Hertfordshire. This picturesque village is well sought-after, close to Stanstead Airport, and property prices here are high.

Ideal publican

We’re looking for a Publican who loves village life and will ensure that the Bull Inn is a community hub. You’ll have catering experience and know what your guests like to drink and where they sit. Ideally, you’ll live onsite and be part of the team. We’re looking for an operator with creativity, imagination, and determination to keep giving guests reasons to visit. You’ll also bring your pub to life on social media.
