Overview

Are you looking to run a traditional London pub steeped in history? Look no further than the Three Lords.

Pub and location

Originally built in around 1750, and reconstructed in 1890, the pub takes its name from the last three Noblemen to be beheaded in England.

In close proximity to offices and businesses in the local area making, it’s a great option for guests to partake in a quick lunchtime drink and snack or an after work catchup with colleagues and friends.

The Three Lords is also the perfect party space for events, thanks to its separate basement bar and function room. Transport options are numerous. Guests can choose from the Circle, District, Metropolitan, DLR and mainline, all with a 3 minute walk, to get home safely.

The pub is set out over two distinct areas: the main ground floor open plan bar which features a long servery with wooden floors and a small trade kitchen, plus the basement bar and function area.

The main bar can accommodate around thirty seated customer and up to thirty more standing, as tends to happen in busy city pubs which are bustling during lunch times and after work as people leave their offices.

Three Lords is located in the City of London just south of Aldgate and to the north of Tower Bridge. It’s nestled in a street that benefits from two large hotels which host tourists and professionals visiting on business.  There are several offices along the street with many more in the immediate surrounding streets.

The ideal publican

We are looking for an experienced pub operator who has demonstrable skill in being able to drive footfall and turnover against a backdrop of quality competition. You’ll bring your pub to life online and forge partnerships in the local area to advertise your business and drive footfall.

Private accommodation

You will need to live locally, as there is no private accommodation at the pub.
