The Boot Inn needs an experienced food operator, the quintessential host, and a leader confident at delegating to a well-trained and engaging team.
The ideal Management Partner will be a savvy businessperson, ensuring consistency between the kitchen and the cellar. You’ll become an integral part of the local community and be knowledgeable about drink and food, delivering excellent training to your staff. You’ll excel in service during the peaks in the summer, be hungry to drive sales and deliver consistent excellence in a highly competitive environment.
The ideal Management Partner will also ensure the Boot is a destination country pub with homemade specialities and a friendly, knowledgeable team. You’ll attract the local clientele by being the best pub in the area, offering a fantastic range of real ales and lagers to ensure it is the first-choice meeting place where the community come together for all occasions.
The pub and location
The Boot sits in Soulbury, an affluent, pretty village and a civil parish within the Aylesbury Vale in the district of Buckinghamshire. You’ll find it approximately seven miles south of the Milton Keynes urban area and three miles north of Wing.
This traditional country pub comprises a spacious main trading area, split into a dining area and a more relaxed bar lounge area. In addition, it has a snug with a fireplace to the rear and a private dining area adjacent to it. It has external seating at the front of the building and a beer garden with a small feature garden to the rear with a substantial car park to the side.
Guests also enjoy the attractive rear garden, partially covered for use all year. Its relaxed atmosphere and ambience combined with comfortable surroundings will create a haven where guests return to repeatedly.
The trading kitchen is of a decent size. We plan extensive refurbishments, an all-weather extension to the rear and sparkle to the toilets before reopening.
The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and bathroom.

We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.
